Facilitating therapies

The primary objective of the activities planned by the National Unit of Soccorso Clown is to facilitate therapies, making them more effective through the targeted intervention of entertainers specially selected and trained to reduce stress from fear and suffering, to limit pain and reduce the need for drugs, in collaboration with with medical and nursing staff, using proven methodologies and making the hospital stay both more bearable and child-oriented, and thus contributing significantly to the process of healing. Improving the quality of a child’s life in this way improves consequently the quality of the whole community.
