The European Bicycle Race that donates smiles to children in hospitals
The Stelvio Challenge is coming back. This European co-operation project between Italy and Holland transforms a bicycle race into a unique international charity event organized by Italy and Holland. More specifically, it is organized by Soccorso Clown S.C.S. ONLUS and its Dutch counterparts, two important non-profit organizations:
which provides assistance for severely sick and disabled children
The Association of Hospital Clowns which actively operates in over 101 hospital facilities in Holland, and is founding member of EFHCO, together with Soccorso Clown.
Cyclists and mountains enthusiasts will meet on June 24, 2016 at the Stelvio Mountain, also called Coppi’s Summit (Bormio). An altitude of 2,760 meters and the many hairpin turns make this place famous in the world of cycling. So, passion for the sport of cycling and passion for the mountain join forces to achieve a very special goal: raise as much money as possible for the daily activities of Soccorso Clown in order to provide a smile and a bit of happiness to the many children hospitalized in the Policlinico Umberto I in Rome, a hospital where we have been providing our services for over 15 years.
How about you? Will you join us?
